In my line of work, positive or uplifting stories are few and far between. Even when a murderer or violent felon is caught and convicted, their horrific actions are often burnt into my memory, and of course no amount of justice can undo what they’ve done to the victim, families, and loved ones. Rarely do [...]
(image courtesy of http://www.ufc.com) I know, you can’t give everything away for free, but the upcoming interim title fight is sure to be barn burner. Given last night’s UFC® on FOX card and it’sack of drama and intensity, a quick win could be had by blasting Diaz v. Condit to the FOX masses. Just a [...]
(image courtesy of cagereligion.com) UFC® on FX airs this Friday night and after last night’s prelims on FX I have a few quick notes for the production crew. First, loose the stock FOX lead-in music. What a horrible choice. This isn’t the NFL, PGA or professional bowling from the ’70′s…it’s mixed martial arts. Don’t give [...]

Yet, this author felt it was a lackluster effort, and implied it somehow damaged Gilbert’s star power with [...]
All the talk has been about a super fight between Silva and GSP, but what about Jon Jones? GSP isn’t crazy about going up in weight, and Silva is clearly comfortable at 205. If Jones beats Rampage and gets through Evans next, I’m all for him and Silva throwing down. You?

It pisses me off to no end that well established boxing journalists, not just fans or schmuck bloggers like me, are calling for Mosley to retire after last night’s performance. What a bunch [...] Continue Reading
